Dear 5th Grade Parents,
The 5th Grade musical is coming soon! Our show this year will be "A Party in a Pear Tree," a fun reimagining of the 12 Days of Christmas. To get ready for our performance, we'd love your help! On Nov. 30th right after school, we will be hanging the backdrop and decorating the stage. Since many hands make light work, we would be very appreciative of extra hands! We should probably be done before 4:15 or so. Since much of the work will involve hot glue and ladders, we ask that any child that would like to help have a parent with them.
If you would like to volunteer, please send me an email (jluke@oconeeschools.org) with your name and child's name.
Also, we could use several empty boxes and some wrapping paper to decorate the stage with gifts. If you have any extra laying around, could you either send it in with your child or, if you're volunteering on 11/30, bring it along?
