REMINDERS for Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17

Tomorrow, May 16, RBES is having a school-wide assembly.  We would like for ALL 5th graders to wear their Malcom Bridge tshirts(white with black writing) that they received and wore last Thursday.  If this is a problem, have them wear a red shirt.

Thursday, May 17 at 8:45 am, the RBES 5th grade Celebration of Learning will be at the NOHS Fine Arts Auditorium.  Family and friends are invited to attend.

Students should wear "dressy casual" attire.

Boys should wear a collared shirt with khaki pants or shorts.  Nice jeans are fine as well.

Girls can wear a dress/skirt (be sure it isn't too short), skort or dressy shorts.  Girls can also wear long pants/cropped pants.  Heels are not recommended due to the fact that the stage can be very slippery.

In past years, some of the parents have chosen to check their 5th grader out after the program is over.  Each homeroom teacher will have a sign-out sheet for parents to sign if they choose to check their child out.  There would be no need to come back to the RBES office to do this.  Students do NOT need to bring a book bag on Thursday or Friday of this week.  If a student DOES return to RBES on Thursday following the program, they may wish to bring a change of clothes with them that morning.

WOW!  These precious children are almost middle schoolers.

Monday - Your last MAP test..... Finish strong in ELA!

Thursday - May 17      8:20 Parents invited to watch 5th graders walk down the hall to board their bus. The student body at RBES will be lined up as a parade route to wave them goodbye.

Immediately after,  parents will drive over to NOHS to get a seat for the Celebration of Learning!  Celebration of Learning begins at 8:45 - 10:00 in the theatre at North Oconee High School.
Attire:  Dressy Causal

Friday - May 18    Last day of school party - The Big Bash   Thank you for sending in your donation to help plan the party.
